Launched Of Jagananna Thodu Scheme
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YSR Jaganmohan Reddy has launched this scheme on 25 November 2020. Under this scheme, loans to the small vendors will be provided to begin their own small startup to carry on their day-to-day livelihood. The loan which will be provided to the beneficiaries will be free of interest. Around 10 lakh beneficiaries have been provided with Rs. 10,000 as the interest-free capital loan under Jagananna Thodu Scheme. The government has allocated a budget of Rs. 1000 crore. The loan under this scheme has directly transferred into the bank account of the beneficiaries.

Second Phase Of Jagananna Thodu Scheme
As we all know the Government of Andhra Pradesh has created Jagananna Thodu Scheme to provide loans to street vendors. Under this scheme the interest-free loans of Rs. 10,000 have been provided to the Saral beneficiaries until now. On 8th June 2021, Chief Minister YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy of Andhra Pradesh released Rs. 370 crores under the second phase of the Jagananna Thodu Scheme. The benefit of interest-free loans under the second phase of this scheme will be provided to around 3.75 lakh beneficiaries.
- Around 5.35 lakh beneficiaries have been rewarded with Rs. 535 crores under the first phase of this scheme.
- Around Rs. 905 crores have been disbursed into the bank account of 9.05 under both the phases of the Jagananna Thodu Scheme.

Rs. 49.77 Crores Interest Reimburse
The government of Andhra Pradesh has created Jagananna Thodu Scheme to provide loan facilities among the small Street vendors who do not have a way to earn during the pandemic of covid-19. Under Jagananna Thodu Scheme interest-free loans will be provided to the beneficiaries. The interest on the loans under this scheme has been provided by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
- Under the first phase of this scheme, the interest of Rs. 29.43 has been reimbursed by the government.
- Rs. 20.35 interest at the second phase has been reimbursed by the government of Andhra Pradesh.

- Vegetable fruits ready to eat street food Pakoda, Bread, Eggs textile artist and product book stationery seller are eligible to apply under the scheme.
- The benefit of this scheme will also be provided to barber shops, cobbler’s pen shops, and laundry services.
- The age of the applicant must be below 18 years.
- The family income of the trader should be Rs. 10,000 in villages and Rs. 12000 and towns.
- The vendors who you are carrying and selling goods on the street are eligible to apply.
- People who sell groceries on footpaths, cards on the streets, and items on bicycles are eligible to apply under Jagananna Thodu Scheme.
- The beneficiaries who are having permanent or temporary shops in villages or towns in a space of 5 feet long and 5 feet wide are eligible to apply.
