The MGNREGA scheme has been introduced to provide employment opportunities to all the unemployed citizens. All the citizens of India who have applied can now check their payment status by using their registered number or Aadhaar Card.
The amount of their daily allowance will be transferred to their bank account directly. Authorities provide them online access to track their status without going to any government offices in their comfort zone.

About NREGA Job Card
The Government of India has introduced the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA) along with the Ministry of Rural Development to identify the authorities that issued an NREGA job card, or MGNREGA job card, to rural households registered under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA). It serves as proof of identification and entitlement to guaranteed employment under the scheme. It entitles the household to 100 days of wage employment per year, as guaranteed by the NREGA scheme.
This initiative has been set to reduce the reliance on others for daily expenses. With the help of the scheme, all the unskilled manual labourers will receive guaranteed wage employment per financial year to rural households.

How to Check NREGA Payment Status at nrega.nic.in Portal
Step 1: To check NREGA Payment Status, the applicant must visit the official NREGA website.

Step 2: On the homepage of the official website, you have to click on “Select State/ UT” and select any state from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Then select any “District” from the list as per your preference.
Step 4: The list of blocks will open on other pages. Here, you should click on any “block” as per their choice.

Step 5: Then the list of “Panchayats” will appear on your screen, after that the candidate should click on any of the “Panchayats” as per their preference.

Step 6: Now the “Gram Panchayat Reports” page will appear on your screen, then click on the “Job Card/ Employment Register” option under the “R1. Job Card/Registration” section.

Step 7: In this way, the list of all the citizens’ names along with their Job Card No. will appear on your screen.

Step 8: Now, the candidate should click on “Job Card No” in front of their name.
Step 9: The Job Card Details will display on your screen.

How to Check NREGA Payment Status on st PFMS Portal
Step 1: To check NREGA Payment Status, the applicants have to visit the official PFMS website.

Step 2: On the homepage of the official website, you must click on “DBT Status Tracker” under the “Payment Status” option.

Step 3: After that, select the “NREGA” option under the “Category” section.
Step 4: After that, select DBT Status, and enter the required details such as Bank, Application ID, Beneficiary Code, and Account Number.
Step 5: Then, enter the Word Verification as given there.
Step 6: Cross-check the details you have entered and click on the “Search” button.
Step 7: The payment Status for NREGA will appear on your screen.
