About Pm Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme 2025
Pm Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme is also known as the Pm Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme. It is a central sector scheme announced by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment to provide financial assistance to all students for their pursuit of study all the students who are studying in classes 9 and 10 are eligible under the scheme, especially targeting those from backward classes such as OBC, BC, EBC, DNT, and others. Benefits of Pm Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme
- Students from OBC, EBC, and DNT categories will receive financial aid for their education under the scheme.
- Under the Pm Yasasvi scheme authorities provide scholarships up to Rs.75,000 per year to students in Classes 9 and 10 and up to Rs.1,25,000 per year to students in Classes 11 and 12.
- The scholarship has various expenses including full tuition fee and non-refundable charges, living expenses, books and stationery, and provision for a computer/laptop.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be a permanent resident of India.
- The applicant must belong to the DNT, EBC, or OBC category.
- The family income shouldn’t be more than Rs.2.5 lakhs.
- Must be studying in 9 and 10 classes in government schools.
- A valid UDISE (Unique District Information System for Education) or AISHE (All India Survey on Higher Education) code is necessary for students enrolled in professional courses at their educational institution.
