For implementation in Punjab, the state government has launched a new initiative named Punjab Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana 2025. Under the scheme, all the citizens will receive free of cost health treatment up to INR 10 lakhs. The Scheme was announced by the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwat Mann on Tuesday, 8 July. Every citizen can apply and avail benefits under the Punjab Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana. The Authorities provide them E- Card for health treatment. The card-making process will start from 2 October. The card will be made with the Aadhar Card or Voter’s Card. With the help Scheme, citizens will get treatment in both private and government hospitals.
About Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana 2025
The Punjab Government has launched a new beneficial health scheme to provide free health treatment up to INR 10 Lakhs in both private and government hospitals. The Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced on Tuesday, July 08, that A total of 65 lakh families of the state will get the benefit of this scheme. Every citizen will receive a Health card. Under the initiative, the total of 1579 treatments covers that include hospitalization expenses, daycare surgeries, 3 days pre and 15 days post-hospitalization expenses, and treatments. The treatment is available in both private and government hospitals, free of cost.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a citizen of Punjab.
- There is no age criterion.
- All the families are eligible to avail themselves of cards.
- Applicant should have a voter ID card of Punjab or an Aadhaar card

How to apply for Punjab Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana
Step 1- To apply under the Punjab Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana, visit the Official Website at beneficiary.nha.gov.in
Step 2- After that applicant has to log in by using their registered mobile number and entering the OTP if you are a new user, do registration first.
Step 3- Then do eKYC & Verification by filling out your Aadhar Number and OTP along with kyc process.
Step 4- Then, you have to add family members’ names in the E- card form.
Stwp 5- In the way you successfully verify and complete, you can generate and download your E- Card.
