On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the present government had promised in its manifesto that housing would be provided to poor families in cities and villages in the state. under the second phase of the Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0. Under this scheme, a plot of 100 yards will be provided for just Rs 1 lakh. To provide a roof to the poor and needy in the State, the allotment process for residential plots to 1.58 lakh applicants across 537 Gram Panchayats and 24 Mahagram Panchayats. The main objective of this initiative is to enhance the standard of economically disadvantaged groups by providing them with land for home construction.
