Former Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar has launched Haryana Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Scheme for senior citizens of state. Under this scheme the members of the family who are 60 years old or above and their family annual income is less than 1.80 Lakh INR are eligible to avail the benefits. The government is providing free pilgrimage. This scheme is specially launched for the Hindu Devotees so that they can perform their Hindu pilgrimage easily. This scheme was launched on December 30, 2023. While launching Antyodaya Mahasammelan minister Shah announced that beginning January 1, the senior citizens will receive a Rs. 3,000 pension.
